Node1 has the ability to operate on standard servers, ranging from globally available off-the-shelf versions to ones that are integrated directly into the radio (BTS/RAN). It supports existing technologies and is software upgradeable for future 4G LTE systems. This approach gives the local operator full control of his system, services and subscribers. It also insures continual service even when communication link outages occur.
