Lemko Corporation is pleased to announce commercial deployment of its E911 Phase 2 emergency services application. Software is the only component needed; no additional hardware is required. Lemko’s unique approach meets the location accuracy requirements defined for E911 Phase 2 with just one site and operates with all Lemko Node1™ cellular systems.
“Lemko’s Public Safety Software Suite provides full E911 Phase 2 location services with a single site,” states Chris White, Vice President, Lemko Corporation. “It eliminates costly hardware at each tower and the need for three cell sites to determine location, meaning rural areas can now afford to provide emergency location services to their citizens. The data may be routed directly to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) so small towns have immediate access to the information.”
Node1 is a 4G Core Network that delivers an all IP, packet-switched mobile broadband cellular solution. It eliminates backhaul by performing all switching, control, authentication and CDR billing record creation. Lemko’s Node1 provides a complete cellular network at every cell site. The E911 Phase 2 software suite adds critical emergency and location services while maintaining Lemko’s single site low cost approach.
